Sapphire is known as one of the hardest existing gemstones, therefore making it the most desirable gem to use for wedding and engagement rings due to it’s durability. Sapphires exist in a range of different colour shades from the classic blue to black, pink, yellow, green, white and the less well known padparadscha.

Peridot is one of the few gemstones that exists in only one colour, a distinctive lime green.

Ruby

Rubies are always fashionable and complement virtually everyone who wears them. In addition to being the official birthstone for July and the traditional gift for 40th wedding anniversaries, the ruby frequently is given in celebration of the birth of a daughter.

Pearls are unique as they are the only gems from living sea creatures and unlike other gemstones require no faceting or polishing to reveal their natural beauty.
